Costs and reimbursement
Treatment at MauniGGZ falls within the mandatory basic insurance. This means that you do not have to pay anything yourself, except the deductible. Your treatment will therefore always be fully reimbursed.
You only pay the deductible
Treatment at MauniGGZ falls under specialist mental health care (GGZ) and is reimbursed by all Dutch health insurers from the basic insurance. However, if you have an in-kind policy, the reimbursement may be lower if we do not have a contract with the insurer in question. There is no personal contribution required for treatment at MauniGGZ, and no additional costs will arise.
You are always responsible for paying your deductible. This is the amount you must pay out of pocket when you incur healthcare costs. The deductible is determined annually by the government and health insurers, and it is currently €385.
If you opted for a higher deductible when taking out health insurance, that amount will be your responsibility. Only after meeting your deductible will your health insurer cover the remaining costs.
